Running back Jonathan Stewart took lots of reps in practice on Wednesday and ran well, coach Ron Rivera said. The Carolina Panthers were without Stewart in Week 1 and again in Week 3 because of related toe and ankle injuries. DeAngelo Williams and Mike Tolbert have been handling the work out of the backfield for the Panthers, who face the Atlanta Falcons this weekend.
Jonathan Stewart Practices For Panthers: Fantasy Implications
Jonathan Stewart practiced Wednesday for the Carolina Panthers after missing last week’s game against the New York Giants. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Stewart showed his value to the Panthers in Week 2, when he scored on a 17-yard pass reception. He also finished that game with 51 yards on 11 carries. Fantasy owners clearly haven’t gotten much out of Stewart and he still plays in a crowded backfield. He has the potential to be the best fantasy value of all of Carolina’s backs but he is nothing more than a No. 3 RB or flex play this week.
