Washington Redskins running back Evan Royster was limited in practice on Wednesday with a knee injury. So far this season Royster has only five carries, though he has gained 35 yards on those attempts with four catches for 20 more yards. He is still just a backup to starter Alfred Morris.
Evan Royster limited in practice, has no fantasy value
Evan Royster was limited in Wednesday’s practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Take: It’s of little consequence at this point to fantasy owners what the status is of Royster, since Morris has now carried the ball 61 times for 263 yards. With Mike Shanahan you never know who could be benched at any moment, and there’s still always rumors that Morris is disappointing at certain times, but Royster isn’t worth a play in fantasy until after that decision has been made. He’s nothing more than a handcuff to Morris, and a loose one at that.
