New England Patriots running back Shane Vereen (foot) was limited again in practice this week. The Pats will face their division rival Buffalo Bills in Week 4, looking to shape up after their 1-2 start. Stevan Ridley and Danny Woodhead have spearheaded the backfield with Vereen yet to see the field.
Shane Vereen limited in practice, irrelevant in fantasy leagues
New England Patriots running back Shane Vereen was limited again in practice this week, recovering from a foot injury. We breakdown the fantasy implications.
Fantasy Analysis: The Patriots will not have Vereen back this Sunday versus the Bills. The team does not seem to be in a rush to get their third running back cleared to play, with Ridley and Woodhead looking capable in this pass-first offense. Even when Vereen does eventually return, it’s unclear what role he will have within the offense. At this point, he is completely irrelevant in fantasy leagues.
