Ben Tate got a vote of confidence from head coach Gary Kubiak on Wednesday despite a fourth quarter fumble during Sunday's game between the Houston Texans and the Broncos.
Ben Tate still has coach’s confidence despite fumble: Fantasy implications
Gary Kubiak said that he still has a lot of confidence in Ben Tate despite a fourth quarter fumble that led to a Broncos touchdown last Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

“Now he didn’t get back in the game because we put Arian in there, but we’ve got a lot of confidence Ben,” Kubiak said. “I think I told y’all this the other day, it’s a great example in this league how everything can go right for you one week and the next week all it takes is one play. You have to stay focused week-in and week-out. He’ll do that. He came back today and practiced good.”
Fantasy Impact: Tate rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns on 12 carries in Week 2, but was held to 26 yards rushing on eight caries against the Broncos. While he sees more touches than the average backup running back, expect the week-to-week inconsistency to continue. Tate is a risky Flex play most weeks, but with bye weeks upcoming he should see more work in standard fantasy leagues.
