Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford returned to practice on Thursday and appears on track to play this weekend against the Minnesota Vikings. Stafford did not practice on Wednesday. In Detroit's Week 3 loss to Tennessee, Stafford left the game in the fourth quarter and had an MRI earlier this week. Coach Jim Schwartz has said he did not plan to make a determination about Stafford's status until Friday.

Fantasy Impact: There had been speculation that Stafford would not practice on Thursday but fantasy owners have to been encouraged to know that he’s back on the field. The Lions have not been as explosive passing the ball this season but Stafford remains a No. 1 fantasy quarterback. Fantasy owners should use him this week if they had planned on doing so.
