St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson missed practice again on Thursday with an injured groin, but he says that he will still be able to play against the Seahawks this week. Jackson missed most of the Rams week 2 win over the Redskins because of the injury, but was able to start week 3 against the Bears. For a veteran like Jackson, it's likely that he's just resting it so that he'll be able to go for week 4.
Steven Jackson misses more practice but says he’ll play, fantasy value still low
St. Louis running back Steven Jackson is missing practice with a groin injury, but says he will play. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Take: This is not a good matchup for Jackson, who is averaging a career-low 3.4 yards per carry, as the Seahawks have the number two ranked run defense in the league. Seattle is allowing just 3.1 yards per carry and it's still possible that with his injury, Daryl Richardson will get several touches in his place. Count Jackson as a low-end flex play for week 4.
