The San Diego Chargers are starting to lose patience with RB Ryan Mathews and his fumbling issues. After his 11th fumble in 27 career games last Sunday, Chargers GM A.J. Smith told the San Diego Union-Tribune that the team will not be afraid to sit Mathews: "I am very concerned, and it has to stop...no one works any harder in trying to get better than Ryan. However, if it continues he will play less." Coach Norv Turner has also indicated that Mathews will be seeing less time near the goal line.
