Detroit Lions running back Kevin Smith insists he's not frustrated with his reduced role in the team's offense after starting the first two weeks. Smith said (via Mlive.com) that his confidence hasn't dropped a bit after Mikel Leshoure took over the starting job in Week 3. Leshoure rushed for 100 yards on 26 carries while Smith played on five snaps in the overtime loss. Joique Bell also saw significant playing time against Tennessee.
Kevin Smith says he’s not frustrated with reduced role; fantasy value remains low
Detroit Lions running back Kevin Smith says his confidence hasn’t dropped after losing the starting job. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Smith should get some credit here for not pouting about his demotion but fantasy owners have probably moved on with bye weeks underway. Leshoure is going to be the primary running back for Detroit moving forward and it will be difficult for Smith to get a lot of playing time. Reconsider him if something happens to Leshoure, but even then the carries could go to Bell.
