Head coach Mike Munchak announced Monday that Kendall Wright will start in the Titans regular season opener. The rookie wide receiver looked impressive throughout the preseason, and it appears his hard work payed off.
Kendall Wright Starting In Week 1 Boosts Fantasy Value
Kendall Wright is starting at wide receiver for the Titans in Week 1. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: With Kenny Britt suspended, Wright gets the nod for a starting role in Week 1. Week 2, however, will likely be a different story depending how the first game on 2012 pans out. Still, this has been a great start to Wright's career in Tennessee. He looked to be in sync with starting quarterback Jake Locker in the action they saw together throughout the preseason, so that chemistry will hopefully translate well into regular season play for fantasy owners this week. The Titans are playing the Patriots to kick things off, a team that wielded the second-worst passing defense in the league last season. Start Wright with confidence this week, but keep an eye on him going forward.
