As first reported by NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal, the Washington Redskins have released their depth chart for their Week 1 matchup against the Saints. RB Evan Royster is listed as the starter, followed by Roy Helu and Alfred Morris. Royster and Helu were both hobbled by injuries throughout August, while undrafted rookie Morris won his way on the roster with a sensational preseason performance.

Fantasy Impact: Don’t think for a minute that the Redskins’ RB competition is settled - this team is still coached by Mike Shanahan, and he could change his mind about 20 more times before Sunday. Having said that, this news at least means that Royster should be the safe fantasy play against a depleted Saints defense while RG3 gets eased into his professional debut, but don’t rule out Helu and Morris yet.
