According to Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle, Rod Streater will play in the slot receiver position to start the season if Denarius Moore and Jacoby Ford don't play in Week 1. Streater stood out in Oakland during the preseason, and it looks like he will get a chance to shine if the receiver corps continues to be plagued by injuries.
Rod Streater Will See Fantasy Value Increase With Raiders Receivers Out
Rod Streater has a good chance of playing for the Raiders in Week 1. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: The Raiders don't play until Monday night, so there is an extra day for their players to heal. Moore dealt with a hamstring injury for a couple months this offseason, and Ford is still struggling to return from a foot injury. Oakland hasn't cleared Ford to run yet, which does not bode well for his starting potential in Week 1. If Moore plays, he will start opposite of Darrius Heyward-Bay on the outside. Streater is versatile in his ability to play multiple positions. There's a good chance of him see significant time to start the season.
