John Oehser of Jaguars.com said on Monday that he expects Rashad Jennings to be given 15-20 carries in Jacksonville's regular season opener, while Maurice Jones-Drew will work in a third-down role. Jones-Drew just returned to practice, so it will likely take him some time to catch up with his team.
Rashad Jennings Expected Workload Boosts Fantasy Value
Rashad Jennings is expected to handle a large workload for the Jaguars in Week 1. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Oehser is simply stating his expectations, but as a senior writer for the Jaguars he has a pretty good handle on the happenings around Jacksonville. Jennings looked like a solid starting back throughout the preseason. Fantasy owners probably reached for him before the news of Jones-Drew reporting to camp broke, but he will still hold decent value at the opening of 2012. Jones-Drew is not going to take a backseat to Jennings when he gets up to speed with his squad. However, Jennings has good potential against the Vikings this weekend.
