Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frazier already confirmed that RB Adrian Peterson (knee surgery) is a game-time decision for the Week 1 opener against the Jaguars. On 1500 ESPN, he later hinted that Peterson will get limited action, if he even plays at all. "We recognize if he's able to get in this first ball game, it'll be with limited exposure. We'll talk about it as the week goes on and see how he's doing and if it's even a valuable option to let him play."
Adrian Peterson Is A Poor Fantasy Option For Week 1
The Vikings won’t give Adrian Peterson much, if any, playing time in Week 1. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: This basically confirms what we've been suspecting for weeks - Peterson won't have any fantasy value in Week 1. Even if he is active, he's still limited in practice and only started taking contact last week, so don't expect anything out of him. Start Toby Gerhart and wait for better news in another week.
