We're back for Week 4 of the 2012 NFL season. The Ravens and Browns got things going on Thursday with Joe Flacco continuing his strong fantasy run with 356 yards, a passing touchdown and a rushing touchdown. Brandon Weeden showed some progress, as he threw for 320 yards. He could not punch it into the end zone, but he otherwise took a step forward for dynasty league owners.
Fantasy football rankings 2012: QB projections for Week 4

Now we're back for Sunday's slate of Week 4 action. This marks the first week of byes with the Colts and Steelers getting the week off. This means you will need to sit Ben Roethlisberger after a big performance against the Raiders, and Andrew Luck if you happened to be starting him.
We have been providing you with rankings all week long, but as Sunday dawns, it would be helpful to have some projections as well. Our Week 4 quarterback rankings are based on our pool of knowledge and often a bit of gut instinct. To improve your chances this year, we are going to provide Sunday projections courtesy of the folks at numberFire. NumberFire uses a series of mathematical models, to break down the action and figure out who exactly is performing well. They use the power of predictive and regressive modeling to more accurately project future performance.
Both SB Nation Fantasy and numberFire are high on Matt Ryan. The Falcons face a weak Panthers defense, which should mean good things for Ryan and his receivers. The same holds true for Aaron Rodgers, who faces a choice matchup at home against the struggling New Orleans Saints.
NumberFire claims a higher predictive rate than the major companies (ESPN, CBS, Yahoo!). However, as with anything in fantasy football, we at SB Nation Fantasy view numberFire as one more weapon in your arsenal to claim victory. The numbers can help over the long term, but there are enough variables week-to-week that multiple sources can provide great value.
