Santonio Holmes Goes Down With Non-Contact Injury; Kerley A Fantasy Waiver Wire Option?
Santonio Holmes hurt his knee on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Analysis: Uh oh. This is the second huge non-contact injury the Jets have suffered after Darrelle Revis went down last week and tore his ACL. Holmes fumbled the ball that cost the Jets seven points on a fumble recovery for a score on the play. The nature of the non-contact injury doesn't bode well for Holmes since many of them result in ligament tears or serious sprains. Chances are this isn't just a muscle pull. Jeremy Kerley could be the last receiver standing and Stephen Hill (hamstring) might be the new WR1 as long as his hamstring heals. The Jets O is in deep trouble.
