Darrius Heyward-Bey officially inactive, has no fantasy value

Oakland Raiders wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey is officially inactive for the team's game on Sunday against the Denver Broncos. Heyward-Bey suffered a concussion and was hospitalized last week after taking an illegal hit to the head. He did not practice all week and there is not yet a timetable for his return to action.

Fantasy Impact: Darrius Heyward-Bey was an inconsistent fantasy option before his concussion, but the injury makes his long-term fantasy prospects even more grim. The hit he took was a nasty one, and I wouldn't expect him to return to full strength anytime soon. Meanwhile, Rod Streater, Derek Hagan and Denarius Moore will crowd the depth chart if and when Heyward-Bey is able to return.
