Randy Moss Named Starter Next To Michael Crabtree: Fantasy Implications
Randy Moss has been named a starter on the 49ers’ offense next to Michael Crabtree. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Moss' fantasy value is difficult to gauge at the moment. While he is a future hall-of-famer, his rocky 2010 season and subsequent retirement makes a sudden return to form no guarantee. The Niners are likely to rotate a few bodies at wideout, making consistent fantasy production uncertain especially within a run-heavy offense. The season opener against the Green Bay Packers' secondary should give owners a good indication of Moss' potential in San Francisco. Giving him a spot in your starting lineup without more information is extremely risky at this point, however.
