Tight ends Ed Dickson and Dennis Pitta will be game-time decisions when the Baltimore Ravens take on the Cincinnati Bengals in their regular season opener Monday night. Dickson sat out most of preseason after suffering a shoulder sprain during the preseason opener. Pitta is recovering from Aug. 1 surgery to repair his broken right hand.
Ed Dickson, Dennis Pitta Will Be Game-Time Decisions Monday: Fantasy Implications
Ed Dickson (shoulder) and Dennis Pitta (hand) will be game-time decisions for the Ravens’ season opener against the Bengals on Monday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Keep an eye out on injury reports, because if one is able to go and the other isn’t, whoever is healthy could be a sneaky-good fantasy option in Week 1. Long term, it’s difficult to tell whether Dickson or Pitta is the better prospect. Dickson is certainly the better athlete, but Pitta was targeted more frequently late in the 2011 season. Either could be a viable fantasy option on their own, but together they steal too many targets from one another to be reliable weekly fantasy starters.
