Ryan Mathews will miss Monday night's game between the San Diego Chargers and the Oakland Raiders, the North County Times reports. Ryan Mathews (Clavicle) Out Monday: Fantasy Implications
Ryan Mathews (clavicle) will miss Monday’s game between the Chargers and Raiders. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: While Mathews was optimistic about his return, most everyone else with any insight into the situation was not. He is still a potentially elite fantasy option this season, but you'll have to find production elsewhere this week. Be sure to revisit Mathews' status for Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans. Ronnie Brown is expected to carry the load for San Diego on Monday, with Curtis Brinkley and Jackie Battle contributing as well.
