The Denver Broncos plan to watch the workload of starting RB Willis McGahee, according to Andrew Mason. McGahee had 249 carries last season, his highest total since 2007, but the team doesn't plan on giving him more than two snaps at a time: "The last thing we want to do with Willis is wear him out. Obviously he does a good job on first and second down; he's tremendous between the tackles; he still has great feet and is our big back at 240 pounds"
Willis McGahee To Have Smaller Workload: Fantasy Implications
The Broncos plan on watching Willis McGahee’s workload this season. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: McGahee is now 30 years old, and John Elway seems well aware of the steep drop-off most RBs have at that age: "The thing is, with running backs, when they start to get a little bit older, you have to manage their workload - not only in practice, but also in games." Expect more action from Knowshon Moreno and Lance Ball on 3rd down situations, but McGahee should still see plenty of carries in the red zone. He's a fine RB2 option this week against the Steelers.
