Steve Smith is listed as probable for Sunday's game between the Carolina Panthers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to the Panthers' official site. Smith missed time with a foot infection during the preseason, but he was full participant in practice throughout the past week.
Steve Smith Probable Against Buccaneers, Fantasy Football Prospects High
Steve Smith is probable for Sunday’s opener between the Panthers and the Buccaneers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: No surprise here, Smith appears to be healthy and ready to go for the start of the regular season. Unless the Bucs’ shaky secondary has gotten exponentially better, Smith should be considered a solid starting option in standard leagues. He has proven that he still has legs despite his veteran status, and an added year of maturity for Cam Newton should make the Panthers’ offense better than the 2011 edition.
