Saints running back Darren Sproles put up a huge first half against the Dolphins on Monday night, but did little else as the game wore on in his team's 38-17 victory.
Darren Sproles racks up 142 total yards and 2 scores in a monster performance for fantasy owners
Darren Sproles turned in his biggest performance of the season on Monday night, falling just short of his career-high in receiving yards. We break down the fantasy implications.

The speedy back carved up the Dolphins secondary and linebackers, catching seven passes for 114 yards and totaling two touchdowns via both the air and the ground. His touched the ball just twice in the second half, with his final one coming with the Saints in the Dolphins’ red zone, but it ended in a fumble after an 18-yard carry.
Of Sproles’ 114 receiving yards, 95 resulted after the catch, and he was stopped 14 yards shy of his career-high in 128 receiving yards. Sproles did not catch a pass in the second half.
Fantasy Spin: That's a welcome 31 points in PPR leagues for Sproles' owners, who continue to watch their nifty weapon cement his upper-tier status in those formats. With the Bears up next on the Saints schedule, Sproles will have to face an aggressive defense, but one that was just exploited by a similar back in Reggie Bush in Week 4. Sproles is a difficult matchup for any defensive unit and can once again be penned into his usual RB2 slot with RB1 upside.
