Wide receiver Brian Hartline was held in check despite a pass-heavy attack by the Dolphins on Monday night.
Brian Hartline gives fantasy owners a paltry 34 yards in loss to Saints
The Dolphins’ leading receiver was limited by the Saints on Monday night, catching just three passes. We break down the fantasy implications.

Even with the Saints up by a wide margin for most of the game, Hartline was held to three catches for 34 yards in the team's 38-17 defeat to the Saints. With Hartline coming into the game leading the Dolphins in catches, yards and targets, the Saints keyed in on him for most of the game and did not give him many opportunities to get free. Instead, Charles Clay and Brandon Gibson led the Dolphins receiving game with six catches each.
Fantasy Spin: With the inconsistency of Mike Wallace maddening his own fantasy owners, Hartline will be a safety valve for Ryan Tannehill once again. But with teams well aware of that fact, Hartline will draw more attention and may not be able to beat coverages with as much frequency as before. Week 4 certainly presented one of those scenarios, and the Dolphins' Week 5 matchup versus the Ravens won't make matters easier. He remains a steady WR3 option with potential WR2 upside in PPR leagues.
