Mike Wallace disappoints fantasy owners again with 24 receiving yards
Dolphins’ deep threat Mike Wallace continues to sputter out of the gate, catching less than half of his targets on Monday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Wallace ended the night with three catches for 24 yards on seven targets in the Dolphins' 38-17 defeat, and often looked out of sync with quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Several yards were left on the field throughout the night, including a ball deflecting off his fingertips in the first half despite having his defender beaten on a deep route.
Fantasy Spin: This is just what fantasy owners can expect from Wallace, who has wowed with deep scores and monster performances over the course of his career, but has also often disappeared entirely. That remains true for him in a Dolphins uniform, as he has failed to top 24 receiving yards in three of his first four games. The exception was a 115-yard performance in Week 2, where he also scored his only touchdown of the young season.
In his first year in a new system, Wallace is not maximizing his opportunities out of the gate, and the ones that do come his way have varied each week. He is a risky WR4 option in Week 5, especially if he draws the attention for Ravens cornerback Lardarius Webb, who is returning to his dominant form after missing most of 2012 due to a torn ACL.
