Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 6 TNF: Brandon Jacobs/Da’Rel Scott
With the team’s top running back, David Wilson, out with injury, the Giants will turn to two options that weren’t on the radar at the season’s start. We break down the fantasy implications.

With running back David Wilson due to miss a few weeks with a neck injury -- per ESPN's Adam Schefter -- the New York Giants will lean on Brandon Jacobs and Da'Rel Scott to shoulder the load of carries Thursday night against the Chicago Bears.
The two have each played four games this season. Jacobs was not yet signed with the Giants for Week 1, while Scott had been released for their Week 5 matchup, before being resigned in the wake of Wilson’s injury. They have 104 combined rushing yards total on the season. Jacobs did notch a touchdown in his 2013 Giants debut, accounting for the duo’s only score.
Fantasy impact: It's hard to imagine a scenario where either running back is a viable starting option in any fantasy league. With Jacquizz Rodgers and Lamar Miller -- the two primary bye-week running backs -- not doing much to distinguish themselves so far this season, their fantasy owners have surely already been looking at alternatives.
If forced to start a Giants running back, watch the game with a black veil, but Jacobs is likely the back to go with. Maybe he gets a goal-line carry. If nothing else, he wasn’t the guy the team released only a week ago.
