Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall was in unfamiliar territory versus the Saints last Sunday. While hauling-in a touchdown and a modest four catches for 30 yards, he was upstaged by second-year teammate Alshon Jeffery, who posted a career day with 13 catches for 210 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy Football start/sit advice, Week 6 TNF: Brandon Marshall
After being overshadowed by Alshon Jeffery in Week 4 and Week 5, can Brandon Marshall return to fantasy dominance versus the Giants? We break down the fantasy implications.

On the season, Jeffery has a team-leading 429 receiving yards, and has now out-gained Marshall in consecutive weeks, and out-targeted him as well (24-19). It's an interesting trend to take note of, and it's more apparent than ever that quarterback Jay Cutler finally has a viable receiving weapon to attack defenses with.
Fantasy Spin: With that said, while Jeffery is emerging, he is not monopolizing the receiving game in Chicago. If anything, the likelier result is that he will complement Marshall rather than take away his fantasy production. We’ve seen plenty of offenses able to house multiple fantasy-relevant receivers, and the Bears are just the newest on the list with a budding offense under head coach Marc Trestman.
That trend will likely continue this week versus the hapless Giants, who have yet to hold a team to under 30 points this season. But more telling, is that they have allowed an NFL-leading 12 touchdowns to wide receivers this season, and Marshall is always a good bet to find pay dirt. Start both with confidence on Thursday night, and expect Marshall to bounce back to his usual WR1 output.
