Texans running back Arian Foster practiced at a limited basis due to thumb and chest injuries.
Arian Foster limited in practice on Thursday, fantasy owners need not worry
The Texans feature-back has been limited in practice this week due to new injuries. We break down the fantasy implications.

This was also the case for Foster on Wednesday, as coaches continue to manage the reps of their feature back. So far, there has been no indication that Foster is in any danger of missing the team’s Week 6 matchup versus the Rams, and no doubt has been expressed over Foster not being in line to receive his usual workload.
Fantasy Spin: Foster’s timeshare with Ben Tate appears to be a thing of the past, as Tate remains a clear second-fiddle to Foster over the past two games. Foster has out-touched Tate 25-9 and 34-8 over the past two contests, which is more than triple the opportunities that his talented counterpart is receiving. Despite the recent dings and dents, all indications are that Foster is back to football shape after missing much of the Texans’ summer workouts with a calf injury.
Though the calf issue appears to be a thing of the past, the chest and thumb injuries are new, although no real concern has been voiced over them. Foster remains a top-flight option versus a porous Rams run defense this week, and owners can feel more than safe starting him.
