Vernon Davis injury: 49ers TE listed as probable, is a must-start in fantasy football
Vernon Davis is listed as probable on the official injury report. We break down the fantasy implications.

Davis missed the team's Week 3 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, and struggled against the St. Louis Rams in Week 4. He was questionable leading up to the team's Week 5 matchup with the Houston Texans, but showed up big with three receptions for 88 yards and a touchdown.
It seems likely that Davis is ready for this matchup. He's been practicing, is no longer questionable and the 49ers desperately need him. Anquan Boldin is the No. 1 receiver, but there's almost nothing behind him, making Davis' role in the passing game that much more important.
Fantasy Impact: A healthy Davis is clearly one of the best tight ends in the NFL. He’s a must-start any week, but especially until the 49ers get some more receiving options. Davis is a top-five fantasy tight end this week, and there is very little doubt about his status for Sunday’s game.
