Donnie Avery injury update: Chiefs fantasy receiver still off the radar
Donnie Avery is probable to play on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Avery is obviously going to suit up for the Chiefs in the divisional game. For whatever reason, the Chiefs haven't been able to get the ball to Dwayne Bowe and Avery leads the team in receiving yards by 54 yards. Of course, Alex Smith has his mantra of being a "game manager" and the Chiefs have been living on their defense.
Fantasy impact: Move along, there’s nothing to see here, folks. Avery isn’t a diverse route runner for the Chiefs and he’s going to be a complete roller-coaster ride all year. The Raiders have been burned with some regularity, but it;s still a little strange to see them get burned while the spotlight is on them.
A deep-ball threat and Alex Smith go together like orange juice and toothpaste. Yeah, it’s not a good combo in case you’re not a fan of dental hygiene and getting your vitamin C.
