Fantasy football Projections, Week 6: Lions vs. Browns featuring Matthew Stafford, Reggie Bush and Jordan Cameron

The Week 6 match up between the Detroit Lions and Cleveland Browns features two teams trying to overcome key injuries. We've got all the fantasy projections for you courtesy of numberFire.

With Calvin Johnson (knee) and Nate Burleson (arm) both out of the lineup due to injury, quarterback Matt Stafford and his offense could only muster nine points against the Green Bay Packers in Week 5. Stafford completed 25 passes for 262 yards and one touchdown in the game. It seemed that the Lions offensive line had trouble protecting Stafford, as he was sacked a season-high five times by the Packers.

Week 6 should be a different story as the team does expect Johnson to play, although he is currently listed as a game-time decision. Whether or not Johnson can play, the Lions will rely on Reggie Bush to carry the team's running game. After four games this season, Bush is averaging a respectable 4.9 yards per carry and it seems as though he has supplanted Joique Bell in terms of touches in the backfield, something most fantasy owners should have anticipated prior to the start of the season.

Even though Brian Hoyer (torn ACL) left the team's Week 5 when over the Buffalo Bills in the first quarter, he got credit for the win. It is the first time in 60-plus years that a Browns rookie quarterback has won his first three starts. Although it's a tough situation for Browns fans to swallow, the good news is that Brandon Weeden came into the game for Hoyer and completed 13 passes for 197 yards and a touchdown, leading the Browns to a 3-2 record. It's debatable as to whether Weeden will ever be significant in the fantasy world, but it's good to know that he didn't cost the Browns the game.

Weeden's success against the Lions on Sunday will depend on his ability to spot Jordan Cameron in the passing game. Last week marked the first time this season that Cameron was held to less than five catches in a game, amassing just three catches for 36 yards against the Bills. Cameron is a big and athletic target that can always find his way into the end zone. Even if the Browns are able to find Josh Gordon down the field, there is no doubt Cameron will also need to have a big game if they are to overcome the offense of the Lions.
