Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is expected to start against the Buccaneers on Sunday. Michael Vick is dealing with a hamstring strain and could miss more time.
Nick Foles expected to start, serves as interesting fantasy asset
Nick Foles is expected to start for the injured Michael Vick. We break down the fantasy implications.

Foles was terrific in his season debut against the Giants in Week 5. He posted a 122.4 passer rating and accounted for 246 passing yards in a little over one half of action. The Eagles up-tempo offense has been a gold mine for offensive stats and Foles was almost able to usurp the starting gig from Vick.
It won’t be easier this week against the Bucs. The Giants are one of the league’s worst defenses while the Bucs have high-caliber players throughout their secondary.
Fantasy impact: Given the Eagles potency on offense, Foles is a nice pickup. He could take the job and run with it and become a QB1, so any owner needing some help at QB might want to entertain the idea of grabbing him. If Vick can’t go next week, Foles might put up some big numbers against Dallas. Vick owners should hold him for now since he’s shown some flashes this season.
