The Washington Redskins are set to take on the Dallas Cowboys as the featured Sunday Night Football matchup for Week 6. It's a matchup that features a 1-3 team (Washington) and a 2-3 team (Dallas), but it is still plenty significant. It's early on in the season and though the NFC East is looking an awful lot like the worst division in football, there will still be a fight for the crown and this matchup will be a significant part of that.
Fantasy football projections, Redskins vs. Cowboys: Tony Romo, Robert Griffin III the top options
Tony Romo and Robert Griffin III are both expected to have big days when the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins meet on Sunday night.

There also should be some pretty solid fantasy performances in the game. Both teams have their share of options, and with some help from numberFire, we’re going to give you some projections to run with below, starting with the Cowboys:
Cowboys
Tony Romo was ridiculous in Week 5, going toe-to-toe with Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. He led his Cowboys to just short of 50 points, and though the team did end up losing, it was an impressive individual performance. Romo is projected to keep rolling this week, with 18.99 points heading his way in numberFire's projection.
Of course, it's wide receiver Dez Bryant who is the prime beneficiary of this, as they project he'll pick up 14.08 points for your fantasy team Sunday. Miles Austin is making his return from a hamstring injury, but they're not hot on him making something happen so soon, as he is projected at just 4.06 points. Instead, it's tight end Jason Witten who is expected to share the love with Bryant, with 10.22 projected points.
Redskins
Robert Griffin III has been disappointing for the 1-3 Redskins, and for fantasy owners this season. But he has a good arm, is accurate, and of course, he can run the ball. That means he's always a threat for a big fantasy day, as evidenced by the projection of 18.13 points.
But the options after Griffin are lacking at this point. Running back Alfred Morris hasn't performed up to expectations this season, but he is projected to earn 12.43 points, so he's not necessarily someone to avoid. After his rookie season, he's a must-start until he starts stringing together some particularly poor games. Wide receiver Pierre Garcon is expected to earn 8.47 fantasy points, but behind him, there's really not much else, as kicker Kai Forbath is above the rest of them.
