New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is officially listed as questionable heading into Sunday's matchup against the New Orleans Saints. That said, multiple reports suggest that Gronkowski will not be active for the matchup, due to lingering concerns with his forearm, which has been operated on multiple times, including three times this offseason.
Rob Gronkowski injury: Patriots TE questionable, but likely to miss another for fantasy owners
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is likely to miss Sunday’s game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gronkowski has been in “will he play this week” limbo for at least three weeks, given his practice schedule. In the lead-up to Week 5, we were given the same story. Many suggested that could be the week he would return, with late reports on Friday and Saturday suggesting that either he or the Patriots had doubts.
This time, Week 6 was pegged as the “target all along,” and early reports suggested he’d be ready. The fact that he practiced all weeks helped facilitate this stance, but it’s now looking like there’s little to no chance he’ll play, unfortunately.
Fantasy Impact: Despite his significant injuries, Gronkowski was a popular early pick in fantasy football. Only time will tell if that gamble will pay off at any point in this season, but we know almost for certain that it will not in Week 6 against the Saints. Meanwhile, Jimmy Graham owners are licking their lips at the possibility of another huge day.
