Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola is listed as active for Sunday's matchup versus the Saints.
Danny Amendola is active on Sunday for Patriots, fantasy owners
The Patriots will look for a bigger contribution this week from top receiving option Danny Amendola, who is working his way back from a groin injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

This week's practice was similar to those of recent weeks for Amendola, who participated at a limited basis for all three days. This is to be expected as Amendola continues to work his way back from a groin injury sustained in Week 1 versus the Bills. Amendola suffered no setbacks since, and he is in line to build off of the 38 snaps he received in last week's game versus the Bengals.
Fantasy Spin: Owners were hesitant to pen Amendola into their lineups last week, and for good reason. Weather was a factor, and there was a good chance that Patriots brass would ease him back into action by limiting his snaps. This was the case, and despite his modest fantasy point total, Amendola still led the team in targets and receiving yards. The shifty slot man is very much in the Patriots plans on offense, and with another week removed from his injury, Amendola makes for a solid WR2 with WR1 upside versus the Saints.
