Patriots running back Stevan Ridley is officially listed as active for Sunday's matchup versus the Saints.
Stevan Ridley is active on Sunday for Patriots, fantasy owners
The Patriots ground game will get a boost with Stevan Ridley back in the lineup versus the Saints. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ridley missed last week's game versus the Bengals with a knee injury, although the extent of the injury was not reportedly severe. That will reign true as Ridley will return to action on Sunday, and will resume his post at the top of the Patriots depth chart. Ridley practiced at a limited basis all week after missing every practice from the week prior.
Fantasy Spin: There's no question that Ridley has been a disappointment for fantasy owners, who likely spent a second or third-round pick on a player who rushed for 1,263 yards in 2012. After missing time with his injury, it's possible that Ridley is eased back into action once again, and the likely scenario is that he resumes splitting time with Brandon Bolden and LeGarrette Blount. It's a dreaded time-share situation for New England's backfield, and Ridley has been caught in the middle of it after not taking the reigns in the season's early stages.
Though the Saints have surrendered a league-worst 5.4 yards per carry average, Ridley makes for a risky flex play this week despite the upside at hand.
