Le’Veon Bell quiet for Steelers, fantasy owners
After two touchdowns in his debut, Bell was disappointing Sunday for the Steelers. We break down the fantasy implications.

Two weeks ago, Pittsburgh Steelers rookie running back Le'Veon Bell made his debut, rushing for 57 yards and two scores. Sunday, in Bell's second game, he was far less productive, with only 34 rushing yards and no scores as the Steelers beat the New York Jets 19-6.
Bell had 16 carries in each game, meaning his yards-per-carry average dropped from 3.6 in his first game to 2.1 Sunday. He did add three receptions for 22 yards in the passing game Sunday, for 56 total yards.
Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners who saw Bell’s two scores in the last game and penciled him in as a surefire starter going forward were sorely disappointed Sunday, as Bell was a virtual nonentity even in a game that Pittsburgh led for the entire second half.
Games like this are probably far more likely than games like his first going forward. The Steelers offensive line is poor and porous, and Bell, while talented, can’t carry an offensive attack. This might be the worst of days, but don’t count on tremendously better ones ahead.
