New England Patriots wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins caught three passes for 45 yards and a touchdown in the team's 30-27 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 6. Thompkins was targeted six times in the game.
Kenbrell Thompkins finds touchdown for fantasy owners
The Pats’ receiver scored his fourth touchdown of the season against the Saints in Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Patriots’ quarterback Tom Brady threw passes to nine different receivers in the game and Thompkins was the only one to catch a touchdown pass. Of all the newbie receivers in New England’s passing game, it is Thompkins who has gained the most fantasy relevance. Through six games this year, Thompkins now has 18 catches for 318 yards and four touchdowns, with his four scores leading the team.
It doesn't look like Aaron Dobson, Danny Amendola or Julian Edelman will threaten Thompkins' place on the Patriots' totem pole. That said, the team eagerly awaits the return of star tight end Rob Gronkowski (arm, back) who has yet to play this year. There's no doubt that Gronk will garner more red zone targets than any other receiver on the team when he returns.
For now though, fantasy owners should slot Thompkins as an option in deeper fantasy leagues, and considering Gronk and Amendola are injury prone, Thompkins may be a good play against the New York Jets in Week 7.
