New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola (head) left late in the third quarter of the team's 30-27 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 6, Amendola had two catches before leaving the game but was unable to gain any yardage.
Danny Amendola on the fantasy injury report again
The Pats’ receiver was shutout against the Saints in Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Amendola was hit by Saints cornerback Jabarri Greer on an end-around play and was unable to return to the game. Though it is suspected he suffered a concussion as a result of the hit, no official diagnosis has been reported.
The Patriots and Amendola have to be frustrated by his departure from the game. Coming into the season, the veteran slot receiver was expected to replace Wes Welker as the team's slot receiver. Things looked promising for Amendola in Week 1, as he caught 10 passes for 104 yards in his regular season debut with the Pats.
With the way concussions are monitored these days and the way New England treats injury reports, there’s no telling when Amendola will return to the lineup. For now, fantasy owners should look to Julian Edelman as the main beneficiary in the Patriots offense, especially in leagues that reward receptions.
