Indianapolis Colts running back Trent Richardson carried the ball 10 times for 40 yards and did not find the end zone in the Week 6 loss to the San Diego Chargers. Richardson ran hard but the Colts couldn't move the ball or keep the offense on the field so his opportunities were limited. The Colts had the ball only 21:29 minutes and struggled against a poor Chargers defense. The fault lies mainly with the receivers who dropped several Luck passes. Richardson did catch one pass for 13 yards and was targeted twice.
Trent Richardson has quiet fantasy night in MNF loss
Indianapolis Colts running back Trent Richardson rushed 10 times for 40 yards in the Week 6 loss to the San Diego Chargers on Monday Night Football. We bring you the fantasy implications here.

Fantasy impact: Richardson got the bulk of the carries but the Colts didn't get an opportunity to run the ball very much. The Colts offense struggled against a defense where they should have done very well but the fault does not reside with Richardson who remains a good fit for the Colts offense. He will continue to get the bulk of the carries and should see some looks in the passing game too. The Colts offense should rebound in Week 7 when they face the Denver Broncos. The Broncos entered Week 6 with the number 1 rushing defense, but they allowed Maurice Jones-Drew to tag them for 71 yards and a touchdown.
