Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski (back/forearm) was limited in Wednesday's practice. He is expected to be a game-time decision for Sunday's game against the Jets.
Rob Gronkowski injury update: Limited in practice Wednesday, fantasy status is still murky
Rob Gronkowski is limited in Wednesday’s practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

Gronk still hasn’t played yet this year and the updates have been among the most inconclusive as any player. When training camp ended, the team initially hoped he would be back in Week 3, but here we are in Week 7 and he’s still not back. Last week, there reports that Gronk wouldn’t be out past Week 8.
It’s interesting that they have still kept him out considering they didn’t use their short-term IR on him back when the 53-man rosters were due. Plus, they waived a slew of tight ends throughout the season.
Fantasy impact: Basically, all the info says he should play soon, but the fact of the matter is that he’s still inactive and doesn’t have a timetable. This is probably the last time it’s easy to trade for Gronk since the positive news should be due soon and once he’s announced as active, he will gain a ton of value.
