Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 7 TNF: Carson Palmer
The Arizona Cardinals quarterback has been interception-prone in 2013. Can he break that trend against the Seahawks? We break down the fantasy implications.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer hasn't had more touchdowns than interceptions, or a passer rating above 80, in a game since the team's Week 1 loss to St. Louis. Thursday night, he looks to fix that pattern as his Cardinals host the Seattle Seahawks.
Palmer has thrown for 1,483 yards on the season, averaging almost 250 a game, but has thrown for only seven touchdowns to go with 11 interceptions. He has only one pass play of longer than 44 yards on the season, coming on a short-pass-and-run for a 75-yard score to Larry Fitzgerald last Sunday.
Fantasy impact: This hasn’t been the Carson Palmer fantasy owners hoped to have when he joined an Arizona team that desperately needed a competent quarterback in the offseason. He’s thrown for multiple interceptions in four straight games, and has at least one in all six games of the season.
Fantasy owners who are missing the on-a-bye Drew Brees and Terrelle Pryor in Week 7, or those who had been relying on Michael Vick until last week, might be tempted by the still-a-big-name Palmer. They should resist that temptation, however, even ignoring the fact that Palmer will face a stout Seattle defense. Palmer has faced a series of strong defenses already and struggled.
In a two-quarterback league, Palmer could possibly be a starter, but guys like Jay Cutler, Joe Flacco, and Ryan Tannehill all seem like much better options. Palmer is more in the range of the new Minnesota Vikings starter Josh Freeman.
