Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 7 TNF: Russell Wilson
The Seahawks quarterback has been disappointing through six games. Can he bounce back to end-of-2012 levels Thursday? We break down the fantasy implications.

With a disappointing fantasy season through six games, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has not returned the value expected of him on draft day. He will look to bounce back with more of an impact Thursday night in Arizona against the Cardinals.
Wilson has had double-digit fantasy points in five of the Seahawks’ six games this season, but has had more than 16 points only twice - Week 3 against Jacksonville and Week 5 against Indianapolis. A year ago, Wilson topped 16 points 10 different times.
This season, Wilson has 1,254 passing yards, only throwing for more than 257 yards once, and eight touchdowns to go with only four interceptions. He has rushed for 60 or more yards in each of the team’s last three games.
Fantasy impact: Through six games a year ago, Wilson had also only topped 16 points twice. That was his rookie year, of course, so the comparison doesn’t completely hold, but he was significantly better in the second half of 2012 than he was in the first.
Facing an Arizona defense that is stronger yards-wise against the run than against the pass, it stands to reason that Wilson might be looking to pass the ball, especially with running back Marshawn Lynch entering the game banged up. The Cardinals do have a penchant for interceptions, but Wilson also has a penchant for avoiding interceptions. While Wilson won't be a top-five quarterback option, he's still a viable starter: top ten or 12 pretty clearly.
