Calvin Johnson was active in Thursday practice; fantasy value up
The Lions star wide receiver has been limited of late, but looks like he’ll be back at it. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson practiced Thursday and "looked good" in the process, according to Lions senior writer Tim Twentyman. Johnson appears likely to play Sunday as the team faces the Cincinnati Bengals in a 1 p.m. game.
Through six weeks of the season, Johnson has 337 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He missed the team’s Week 5 game, and was held to three receptions and only 25 yards in Week 6.
Fantasy impact: It’s nice to see Johnson back as a full participant, as he was looking really strong in Weeks 2-4, with 275 yards and four touchdowns in the three-week span just before his injury.
Assuming Johnson is back at it Sunday, he's a must-start WR1 (and is in that role regardless of his health, really; an active Johnson is a started Johnson). Kris Durham, who has seen an increase in production with Johnson injured, will probably slide back a bit with Johnson's return. On the flip side of the coin, Reggie Bush, who has been blanketed with Johnson hurt, could get freed up a bit more, and his production could rise.
