Andre Brown returns to practice; could be fantasy relevant soon
The Giants running back has been out all season after breaking his leg, but could be back soon. We break down the fantasy implications.

New York Giants running back Andre Brown has resumed practicing with the team, his first week eligible to practice, according to New York Daily News columnist Ralph Vacchiano. He is eligible to return after Week 8, but with the team's Week 9 bye, he can first play in New York's Week 10 game.
The Giants have had a disastrous season at running back, with Brown breaking his leg in the preseason, David Wilson struggling and getting injured, and the team being forced to sign castoffs to fill the role. Brandon Jacobs, who was picked up off the scrap heap, had a huge game in Week 6. Backup Da'Rel Scott came up lame in that game, and the team signed Peyton Hillis this week.
Fantasy impact: It's hard to imagine any position on any team having gone through as many problems as the Giants have at running back in 2013. While Jacobs did produce strongly against the Bears in Week 6, it's hard to imagine anyone counting on anything similar from him (or Hillis) going forward.
Assuming Brown returns when he is first eligible, then, he could easily slide right into the team’s No. 1 running back role. He needs to be stashed in all leagues now.
