The tight end has been sitting out Wednesday practices lately. We break down the fantasy implications.

Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen is repeating his pattern from a week ago, sitting out Wednesday practice before returning for Thursday, as he deals with a foot/ankle injury, according to Charlotte Observer beat writer Joe Person. Olsen followed this schedule a week ago, then caught only two passes for 19 yards in Sunday's game.
On the season, Olsen has caught 23 passes for 292 yards and a touchdown. Before Week 6, he hadn’t gone for less than 54 yards in a game this season.
Fantasy impact: It's hard to ascribe blame for Olsen's poor production Sunday entirely to his injury, as the Panthers pulled ahead early and didn't pass as often late in the game. That said, he will almost certainly be at less than 100 percent for Sunday's game against the Rams, so fantasy owners should beware.
Olsen is normally somewhere in the back of the top ten among tight ends. For Week 7, he’s not far below that, but is probably in the early teens instead. He’ll still start on most rosters, but anyone with options should look closely.
