Bears tight end Martellus Bennett returned to practice at a limited basis on Thursday.
Martellus Bennett limited in Bears practice on Thursday, but is expected to play this week for fantasy owners
The Bears continue to manage the practice reps of their pass-catching tight end this week. We break down the fantasy implications.

This comes on the heels of Bennett being held out of practice on Wednesday, as he continues to get back to 100 percent after sustaining a knee injury. Despite not being fully recovered, Bennett played through the pain last week versus the Giants, and caught six passes for 68 yards. The Bears are likely managing Bennett's reps as the wear and tear of the long season begins to take its toll.
Fantasy Spin: Many tight ends are presented with favorable matchups this week, and Bennett's case is no different. The 6-feet-6-inch, 270-pound tight end will prove to be a handful against a Redskins defense that has allowed an average of 272 yards through the air per game, as well as a quarterback rating of 105.0. The Bears' pass-heavy attack ought to move the ball with ease this week, and Bennett will have chances to capitalize versus a struggling Redskins coverage unit. He remains a low-end TE1 with upside, and owners could do much worse than to have him in the lineup once again.
