Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald will be active versus the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night, the team announced.
Larry Fitzgerald active, faces difficult fantasy matchup vs. Richard Sherman, Seahawks
The Cardinals will trot their top receiving weapon onto the field on Thursday night versus the Seahawks despite limiting him in practice. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fitzgerald has been working through hamstring injuries on both legs in recent weeks, and after being a game-time decision last Sunday, he will suit up despite a short week to recover. He was expected to be limited last week, but instead played all but six snaps versus the 49ers and wound up having his biggest game of the year. Fitzgerald's 117 receiving yards against San Francisco are the most he has put up in a game since 2011.
Fantasy Spin: Though it's encouraging that Fitzgerald will play this week, it's not under the most ideal circumstances. Having a short week and facing one of the league's top cover corners in Richard Sherman doesn't bode well for Fitzgerald's fantasy prospects. While he's certainly talented enough to win battles with the best, it's not likely that Fitzgerald will have the field day he had a week ago. He is worth a start, but owners would be wise to temper their expectations while he lines up across from a stout Seahawks defense.
