Jets running back Bilal Powell practiced in full for the second straight day on Thursday.
Bilal Powell practices fully again on Thursday, presents upside for fantasy owners vs. Patriots
The Jets’ leading rusher has practiced without limitations this week despite sustaining a shoulder injury versus the Steelers in Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

Powell sustained a shoulder injury last week versus the Steelers, but it has since been downplayed by Head Coach Rex Ryan. The fact that Powell has practiced fully ever since proves Ryan's words to be true, and the Jets' lead back can be expected to play once again versus the Patriots when the teams clash on Sunday.
Fantasy Spin: Though the Patriots defense has exceeded expectations this season, the Jets caught a break with Vince Wilfork, Jerod Mayo, and possibly Aqib Talib being inactive. At the least, the middle of the Patriots defense will be without its two best players, and Powell could find some room to run between the tackles. That's a game plan that the Jets would welcome, as an effective run game would milk the clock and keep Tom Brady and company off of the field.
Powell’s only touchdown of the season came versus the Patriots in Week 2, and if they find themselves in goal-to-go situations once again this week, he has a good chance of adding to that total.
