Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles (undisclosed) did not participate in practice on Wednesday as the team prepares for its Week 5 match up against the Tennessee Titans, according to Rotoworld. Charles' absence from practice is likely just a day of rest as he has not been listed on the team's injury report since Week 2 and didn't appear to suffer any injuries in last week's game against the New York Giants.
Jamaal Charles misses practice, likely just resting for fantasy owners
The Chiefs go-to running back sat out practice on Wednesday for undisclosed reasons. We discuss the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Charles did have a bit of an issue with his quadriceps muscle back in Week Two but has looked just fine since then. He struggled with his share of injuries throughout his career but for all intents and purposes looks just fine this year.
Quarterback Alex Smith has added stability to the Chiefs air attack which has helped Charles find room on the ground that he hasn’t seen yet in his career. Through four games this season, Charles has amassed 502 total yards to go with four touchdowns. That stat line is really encouraging for his fantasy owners considering Charles only managed six touchdowns all of last year.
Looking ahead to Week 5, Charles and the Chiefs face the Titans run defense that has allowed the 17th most fantasy points to running backs this year.
