Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is listed as probable on the official injury report for Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Johnson is dealing with a knee injury that kept him out of the team's Week 5 game, but he did participate in practice all three days, which is a rarity for Johnson.
Calvin Johnson injury: Lions WR probable, should be started in fantasy
Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is probable for Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Johnson is usually given a rest day on Wednesday, but its likely the Lions felt that more practice was better for evaluating where he’s at with the injury. He did play in Week 6, but he was clearly limited, rarely ran deep routes and didn’t look full speed whatsoever. He was only in on 38 snaps on the day, as well.
It seems likely Johnson plays, but it’s unclear if he’ll be limited in any way. It doesn’t sound like there will be a max number of snaps or anything like that, but it will certainly be a “see how it holds up” situation.
Fantasy Impact: Fantasy owners need Johnson to play. He’s the best receiver in the league, and there’s really no debate on that. Of course, he might have another down day, but he’s just too good to leave on the bench. Unless you hear otherwise, Johnson is playing and should be started.
